Try something new this Shabbat

The time has come to get comfortable with that intimidating Shabbat service!
Join Rabbi Avi Stewart of the Jewish Study Network for an introduction to Jewish prayer, an overview of the weekly Torah portion and inspiring perspectives on Shabbat and its unique prayers.


This weekly event is geared for beginners of all ages. Families welcome - Childcare provided. Come and learn, discuss and question in an open, comfortable atmosphere.
Followed by a light "kiddush" - refreshments will be served.

Rabbi Avi Stewart received his Rabbinical Training at Ner Israel Rabbinical College. He also obtained a Masters of Science in Clinical Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. He received his training in family counseling from Lighthouse Inc., an adolescent and family counseling
center located in Catonsville, Maryland. Rabbi Stewart has experience in organizing and developing programming such as Heritage Retreats. In addition to his other skills Rabbi Stewart is a professional Chazzan, as well as a recording artist who has soloed on a number of popular Jewish music albums.
